Hmm, full bore meditation and all padawan's supporting should give us a ton of information. Anyone that doesn't go along with it is a filthy Sith traitor =p.

All right, let's do this.
EDIT: It's done, they've all got targets. I will post the targets given after vote close in case we have indeed been infiltrated.

I suppose I'm somewhat alright with the plan to go full-on Meditation, since if it's fruitful we can go headlong into planet influence, using sparse Meditation on any new Council masters. But it seems like the plan's a little too easy to put together, and if the Sith are able to control any planets before we can get to them, well, they'll be using our powers against us.

The trick with that is, if they do so, we'll know pretty darn quick who didn't once the results roll in. Unless, y'know, everyone decides to tell us to jump into a Sarlacc and does their own thing, then we'll be in real poodoo.
Otherwise though, I agree that after this, we start scooping planets full bore.

Are we still planning on using our council vote tonight? Since at least a majority of us should be Jedi-aligned (and it would basically be a failure of grand proportions if not), it's basically a second village vote. A vote is a vote, and power that we do not employ is power wasted. In accordance with the Meditation plan, we shouldn't knock down a Knight, of course, but if we have a lead on a suspicious Padawan, we should consider coming to a consensus on our group elimination ability.

I think we should at least have one team going for a planet, just to find out how much influence the planet powers are going to have. I am assuming they are going to be a big deal, and allowing the sith to grab them while we play it safe seems like a bad idea. I also have to agree with Blarney that this feels a little too easy, which probably means we are missing something. Sparing a few teams of knights/Padawans led by a single council member can flip us a planet, and if not, it gives us a short list of names to figure out who leaked the target or didn't do their part.
I also don't really see everyone in the village wanting to ignore planets.
And yes, we should use our power tonight. Its going to be a blind shot on a padawan, but its silly not to use it.

The village should want to confirm the council. Yes we are sure fire mafia targets, but we are also a built-in network.

Matev, did you PM everyone their targets?
Its not that I don't trust you to pick whose seering whom, but it really should be RNG'd with a link to an Orokos/Invisible Castle site that shows the RNG rolls.
Ok, it is that I don't trust you not to pick seering targets. It would be too easy for a Sith on the council to pick his Sith buddies to target him.

We are losing the confidence of the peoples. I am info-dumping to the thread about the particulars of the plan.
Matev...you got some 'splainin to do.

There is nothing illegitimate about using a seer power that 40% of the village has. This is not a roll call. A roll call is checking off named characters or specials in the hopes of narrowing down a list of suspected mafia. This is a collective seering effort of Jedi Knights and we would be stupid to not attempt to draw what information we can out of it.

Aiming people's actions seems okay to me. I reckon obifett built something in to combat it from being a roll call (adding uncertainty in the game one way or another).
We need some data to make decisions.

The village seems pretty vehemently opposed to the plan.
