Well, I think the council-decided actions route is completely and utterly dead.

Okay guys, if you haven't been paying attention to the thread, we're going to organize five of us to help take planets, and the other five of use will be using our other actions.
Telegraphing our specific actions to the rest of the council creates some problems, not sure how best to deal with that.

I have an idea to deal with that.
We make two man teams of masters, one will be supporting the planet capture effort, the other will be using one of our mysterious other actions. We then all report to the thread on our actions after vote close.

Need to get caught up on the game thread, but I like the idea of going for planets at this point more and more. Especially since, as I understand the current mechanics, there is nothing available that can knock a council member out of the game. In the likely event that we are infiltrated, that essentially perma-guards a mafia until they widdle down our numbers.

Also, are we still being secretive about our powers? I get the feeling that in a game like this the Sith will know what we can all do. It strikes me as pretty transparent and it may help us coordinate with the village. Just a thought. Still catching up on main thread.

I assume the mafia can kill us and will Your missing the point. We can't kill/vote mafia council, even if we find one. This means that if we don't find a way for village to take out council members, as we are inevitably picked off and replaced, the council powers will become a liability to the village. This makes getting the planet powers, which I can only assume is where we will find our vig, important. Of course, this assumes I am wrong about us all having the same powers.

What does everyone think of the pairings? Also, it would probably be best if we randomly assigned planets to each pair to minimize redundancy.

My team has its options presented and I have communicated with Slym. I will leave any further discussion on what our group is doing up to him, but I honestly think we should wait until after day one vote close to be too open. I am already late for my plans tonight, so I doubt I will be back before close.
